Gallant Goldmane

OC

Race / Were Fang

Twin Blade / Summoner

Mystic

Were Fang] Gallant Goldmane is the embodyment of the theatrical twin blade: flamboyant, with a thirst for adventure and challenge, and seemingly endlessly optimistic, he is seldom one to shy away from a fight for the right cause. A frequent itinerant adventurer throughout the realm, he is often seen in his transformed feline were fang aspect, providing aid and support where needed in exchange for very little outside of occasional food and shelter. His distinctive double-wielding combat sytle perfectly appeals to both his agility and his theatrical personality, and it also complemented by the surprising elemental summons. Although he appears happy-go-lucky and the very semblance of the dashing adventurer, there is a deeper side of him: a soft-spoken, wistful romantic with a gentle but ever-present melancholy, a side of him that only comes through when he lets his guard down- and that happens very seldom, and only with people he has come to trust. More often than not, he will try to hide behind the telling of a grand story, which he seems to conjure almost as well as any Bard of the realm. Gallant's player seldom ever talks about his past in the real world, and seems to have become completely comitted to living his Elder Tree life to the fullest, as the only life that matters.

"We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance!" - Gallant Goldmane

Scenes

Name Date Summary
Duty Session 394: The Tides of Summer 2021 December 11th
During the Summer Beach Festival, it is common for Landers and Adventurers alike to make use of the beaches around Yamato. It is rare to see monsters during this time of year, but it does still happen. Enough so that some people are stationed at the shoreline, ready to spot anything that might come from the sea. It is one of these calls to arms that has brought Adventurers to the shoreline, ready to fight.

OOC: This dungeon is only available during The Summer Beach Festival. This is largely a combat-based Duty.

Festival: Lights Against the Night 2021 December 12th
The usual revalry that comes along with the Summer Beach Festival seems a little subdued this year. There are no fireworks planned, with most kingdom-aligned mages reserving their mana for more important matters. However, that doesn't stop some people from trying to celebrate. Join them for a twilight evening, watching the sun set over the water and enjoying swimming, food, and comraderie in the brief lull before the storm.

(OOC: Open social scene. Bring your swim clothes. Have some food. Talk and share your worries and plans. Only Light/Limited GM interaction.)
Beachside Defenses And You! 2021 December 14th
War of Dragons: Invasion - Shibuya 2021 December 22nd
The Palace Land warriors move upon Shibuya's port with multiple ships, ready for combat - turning the region in a large combat theater intent on pushing out the Adventurers!

OOC: The end of this scene will mark the opening for Uncrowned characters from the Palace Land.
OOC: Warning, this is a Risky Scene. Memories are at serious risk.
On This Shore 2021 December 30th
Duty Session 404: Zombie Jamboree 2021 December 31st
While those who had controlled the undead hordes of Ninetails are now sealed, at least temporarily, there are still many that roam the lands, creating a menace to the people of the Kingdom. Rylen Corvus of Crescent Moon has worked with the Merchant Blades and the Peko Army to commission a Hunter's Guild quest to help thin some of these numbers.

Duty Session 407: Grunty Drive 2022 January 1st
A porcelain quest has been offered to the Hunters Guild. A small consortium of Lander ranchers would like adventurers to drive their Grunties to market. The party will have to cover a fair distance, involving camping outdoors, warding off predators, and negotiating the sale of the grunties at the end destination. The request requires the delivery of the majority of the herd to the market town and their successful sale.

Duty Session 414: A Dark and Stormy Night 2022 January 12th
During the Storm Festival, it is common for Adventurers to gather indoors at a local inn or tavern. Any place to get away from the heavy rains and piercing wind. However, on one such Dark and Stormy Night, a Lander has come inside from the storm, bringing with them an unusual quest. They are tasked to brave the storm and face wind elementals in order to gather some strange alchemical ingredient.
