The Scale Emblem alliance is home to the largest ‘clearing’ guilds, aimed at eliminating the Aincrad tower. Their goal is purely set on that, and ensuring that they have the power base to do so. They seek to be the law of the land where they roam, and try to ensure that the various kingdoms give them the resources they need to depart from the land. They are the ones who seek a way out most desperately and believe that they do not belong within this world. There are some amongst them who take very extreme approaches, with their sights set purely on escape.
