Gao Lim

OC

Race / Were Fang

Godhand / Acolyte

Asura

Gao Lim is a Palace Lander who has a love for drinking, gambling, and making more drinks from who knows what. Most often found behind a tavern or other establishment's bar showing off his skills at a rather acrobatic bartending style, he often earns his night's stay this way and by breaking up bar fights with handy barrier magics or just flat out tossing someone out. He doubles as a handy bouncer, too. On the surface, at least, he is a happy individual who seems to have escaped a lot of what the ETO world has tossed at him. He wanders the lands trying to figure out life, dressed as some sort of travelling pilgrim-like individual who is oddly enough not even armed or armored. Back in the Palace Lands, however, he earned a reputation before the Apocalypse as a Raid Healer not afraid to get in close and take out an add before healing someone. Usually with a slap upside the head for letting their health get that low. In a fight, he tends to toss off his robe and go into a Were-Fang form based on a beetle monster of some sort. As an Asura he has no problems in keeping himself alive, debuffing an enemy, and ramming a fist or foot into one hard enough other people say 'ow' in appreciation of the hit.

Scenes

Name Date Summary
War of Dragons: Uncrowned 2021 December 27th
The Uncrowned come to Alne to speak to the Adventurers who have gathered, revealing their existance and what is truly going on with the Palace Land war.
Welcoming the Uncrowned 2022 January 1st
The Doctor of Tolbana has an interest in meeting the Uncrowned, but the situation being what it is has had him holed up in the tower coordinating business more often than not. So, instead of sallying forth to meet them out in the wilderness, Prophylaxis has instead invited them to the Dragon's Larder inn, Tolbana, for some rest, relaxation, and an opportunity to potentially find a safe harbor in war-torn Yamato.

Plus, he might just have a few questions to ask them as well...
Canoeing With Uncrowned 2022 January 9th
The Uncrowned, fearing what will happen if they die here in Yamato, start to look into finding new places to call home. Their first stop is Mac Anu and possibly running into the residents there in.

OOC: Social scene mostly. Uncrowned explicitly invited, as well as anyone who might be wanting to meet them that hasn't.
A New Year II - Alne 2022 July 11th
With the war looming over the Yamato region, people still collect together within Alne in order to celebrate the New Year. A celebration considered almost bittersweet, as it does not just celebrate the coming of a new year, but also the two years since the Adventurers were trapped into the world of Alne. With the first, came the Cursed Wave. With the second, came the release of the 'Quarantine' that brought them to the Palace Lands. What could a third New Year hold for them? Has the New Year become naught but a bad omen?
Duty Session 509: Karluin Reclamation - Labyrinth 2022 July 25th
The goblin stronghold in Karluin Keep has finally been weakened enough to send teams into the underground labyrinth through recently discovered entryways in pursuit of the Goblin King. Unfortunately, the vast maze of tunnels under the fortress-town has proved all but impenetrable to average reconnaissance teams. Elite explorers have been called upon to penetrate the dangerous depths, eliminate threats found within, and track down the source of the goblin infestation once and for all. Unfortunately, it's easier said than done; the depths are home not only to the local goblins, but a number of elemental machines, deadly traps and other hitherto unknown dangers waiting to befall unprepared adventuring parties.

Difficulty:    Hard
Rec. Party:    5+
World Rewards: A chance at the Karluin Dungeon Heart.
